Rob started working in the automotive trade in 1982 and earned ASE certification in 1986. His work has included brakes, steering and suspension, wheel alignment, diagnostics, engine performance, A/C, and repair. In 2003 he moved into network engineering, developing a disciplined approach to troubleshooting complex systems.
In February 2026, Rob became the new owner of Sal’s Auto Service in Fullerton. He returned to automotive service with a philosophy shaped by both careers: gather evidence, identify the root cause, and recommend repairs based on test results — not assumptions.
